Ray Carter and Joyce Leech both of DPSS Consultants
Ray Carter is Managing Director of DPSS (Developing People Serving the Supply Chain) Consultants and external examiner for Salford University and the Institute of Export. He has acted as Consultant in Procurement for a number of organisations such as Shell UK Materials Services, Lucas Engineering and Systems, the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, BRC, Ericsson, British Aerospace and Shell International BV. He is author of several previous books including People and Organisations, Policy Planning and Organisation and Integrated Materials Management and is well known worldwide having worked in the Far East, Middle East, South America, Europe and Africa.
Joyce Leech is a Consultant with DPSS Consultants. Joyce has held a number of Purchasing Management posts in the public and private sector and was appointed Senior Academic in Further and Higher Education. She has been involved in the project management of design and building works and is a visiting lecturer and a training consultant. She has made study visits to US companies relating to stores and materials control. Her background enables her to cover both theory and practice of procurement.
