Alastair Evans is course director of the CIPD
programme and senior lecturer in human resources
management at Thames Valley University,London, UK.
He has held positions as personnel director and
HR director in the computer industry and worked
for the Institute of Personnel Management as
policy advisor in the field of employee
resourcing. He has published books on HRM and is
a consulting editor of the British Personnel
Management journal.
